Our growing manufacturing client is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and business planning activities. This role partners closely with executive leadership to ensure accurate financial results, support strategic decision-making, and drive process improvements across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, AP, AR, payroll, inventory, and account reconciliations.
Ensure accuracy of financial records and maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards.
Prepare financial reports, analyze business performance, and present insights to leadership.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning initiatives.
Assist with audits, banking relationships, and accounting process improvements.
Partner with cross-functional teams on operational and strategic projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including Controller or senior accounting management responsibilities.
Manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-based industry experience required.
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Advanced Excel and ERP system experience preferred.
CPA and/or MBA is a plus.
